Resource Wood Products is a company that is able to out source a strong variety of resources and fabrication abilities that utilize fine old growth woods rescued from demolition of large industrial structures. We utilize a variety of woods of varying grade qualities and looks from Redwood, Pines, Douglas Fir, Cypress, Hickory, Chestnut, Oaks, Barn wood, Beech, Gum, Hemlock, Poplar, Sycamore and other species, some of which are extremely rare. Our view is that once is not enough and reclaiming this fine material for use in flooring, paneling, cabinets, furniture and timbers can potentially compliment the appointments of fine interiors.
The inspiration to open a product showroom was influenced by Resource Wood Products desire to find an arena to present reclaimed woods in a variety of finished forms. The remilling of heavy timbers into post and beam stock has become reasonably well known. Fine and rustic flooring has also been seen here and there. However, unique furniture, custom doors, specialty windows and other crafted wares--particularly well made--are not so often found from reclaimed woods. Resource Wood Products is striving to collect examples of this kind of handiwork, created by builders and artists from all over the western states and Canada. In the environment of this fine crafts gallery, one can find interesting functional pieces to a please a wide spectrum of tastes.
